Deaf Parents Day

The CODA International Board is pleased to announce the 2022 celebration of Deaf Parents Day on Sunday, 24 April 2022 (formerly known as Mother Father Deaf Day).

The name of the celebration has been changed to include all types of Deaf-parented families. The 25th anniversary celebration of Mother Father Deaf Day was held in 2021 with worldwide fanfare.

Though the 2022 celebration features a new name, it is a continuation of the long-standing tradition established to honor our Deaf parents for the 26th time. We hope you will join us in celebrating Deaf Parents Day.

Participate with us by using #DeafParentsDay and share a photo or two with your Deaf/Coda family on any social media platform! Whether they are throwback or recent photos, we want to see them all!

We look forward to many more celebrations to come.

Happy #DeafParentsDay!!
